What the fuck is wrong with me really.

I don’t like to read as an activity. I enjoy books a lot, and I love what position they hold compared to other forms of media.

However for the life of me I don’t have the patience to sit down and read through even a good book when I could be playing video games or even sitting down with an album or three.

Guess the top books on my reading list?

Lord of the Rings, and the A Song of Ice and Fire series.

YEAH ONE OF THOSE WILL GET DONE SOON I BET.

And now I have a powerful urge to read Journey to the West.

You know, the 100 page epic, translated as faithfully as possible from fucking ancient chinese you know it’s going to be the absolute DRIEST READ IMAGINABLE.

I think I do it on purpose. Like I know I’m not going to enjoy this experience at all while it’s happening so I’ll set the bar so high I won’t even be able to muster up the will to jump.
